Comment moved to moderation?

Hello, I'm new to the site and noticed that one of my comments was moved to moderation:

http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/1082629/get-closest-vector3-position-from-a-gameobject-and.html#comment-1082680

In fact, my activity feed says that I moved it to moderation myself (??!) although all I did was post it.

I'd appreciate if someone could explain what this means and how it works. Thanks!

Is this the only post it as happened on?

The new site iteration has a few kinks to be worked out. Even my Questions were being placed in moderation. Now that was embarrasing :P

I approved this particular post about an hour ago, so dont worry too much.

Support has been dealing with this so they would be interested to know its still happening.

Reply to this QA, perhaps one answer and one comment and let me know if they get sent to moderation. It doesnt matter if they get rejected or whatever, as long as you tell me what happens. You can P$$anonymous$$ me through the forum to do this if you wish. We will go from there.

Was it an actual comment or an answer with a comment in it? Sometimes new users are using Answers ins$$anonymous$$d of Comments to have discussion, and those are sometimes rejected in moderation.

It was an actual comment. I dont recall having to convert it.

Thanks guys, the comment showed up on the site. This is the first (and only) time it happened. I'll report if that happens again.

$$anonymous$$y activity feed tells me I have moved one of my comments to moderation today (first and only comment where that happened). So the 'problem' is still there.

thanks for letting us know, we've been having permission issues in general and this seems to be part of that.

Seems to be all good.

Support are having a hard time tracking this one down, but it seems to be going away on its own.

I have a feeling that since the switchover everyone has a relative $$anonymous$$arma of 0 according to the mod queue. Have you gained $$anonymous$$arma since the mod 'incident'?

Yes, got ~50 points or so. No issues.

Thats probably why you arent getting thrown to moderation now. Seems that everyone needs an upvote again, no matter how much karma they had at switchover.

When did the switchover happen? I joined on July 31st. I answered a number of questions between Oct 7 - Oct 14 and none went to moderation.

Then maybe not at switchover but some other point. I posted two questions closely together and they both went to $$anonymous$$odQ but after that, nothing. I suppose I should test my Questions.

Support are working on the site a lot so changing permissions and other things could easily cause these problems.

O$$anonymous$$, I posted a question and this time I wasnt sent to moderation.

1 Upvote since the 'event' fixes the problem. Im sure support would lvoe to know what that event was!
