How to send a private message to another Unity Answers user?
Everything is in the title. I don't have access to other user's mail address. So, How can I send messages to other users?

You can't! This is not another social platform, it's a knowledge base. Questions posted here should be "of interest to at least one other Unity user somewhere". Personal contact would bypass the community. This site is more like wikipedia. Personal or subjective questions don't belong to thie site. Use the forum instead.
I understand that way of thinking, but sometimes i'd like to give someone a 'private' link. Or ask a 'moderator' a precise question. No way to do this? Nothing about private messages?
Ask a question about what? Actual moderators, which actually belongs to Unity Technologies, can be reached on the forums. Again, this page is like wikipedia. There are no private messages either. If you want to talk to UT and not to the community, contact them in the usual way.
all well and good but after receiving more info from the person with a problem I had the answer ..but was not able to make another comment or post a reply. WTF. that policy limits the ability to help people. His problem was a bit vague so I asked him a few questions to clarify. now that I have the solution for him I can't even tell him. That is simply ignorant
I'm not sure what you mean. You can always post a comment on answers or questions unless the comments got locked by a moderator due to too much spam. What question do you actually talk about? Did you mean your post over here? You actually misused the Answer function for posting a comment. Answers should exclusively answer the question. For everything else there's an Add Comment button below every question / answer.
I converted your "answer" into a comment. Yes, it's true you can only post one answer to a question. But you can edit it at any time if you want to add something. Are you sure you have understood how a Q&A site works? ^^. This is not a forum.
This is ridiculous. What if I'm very interested in someone's work and want to cooperate with him???
This is a Q&A site and not a social network or forum. However You can send private messages on the Unity Forum, though most people will ignore private messages, especially because most ask for personal help with an issue and as I explained, that bypasses the community. I did reply to some of the private messages, however I wasn't that active on the forum and I got private messages that went unnoticed for half a year -.-
Note that even stackoverflow does not have private messages for pretty much the same reason. If a person wants to receive private messages, he can add contact information on the profile page.
