Is it okay if I reinstall Unity editor on a hard drive, & keep projects on it?
Hi. So I got a new laptop, specifically for work. My sister uses it too for heavy, content-creation stuff. We had 120GB of storage to begin with, which filled up pretty quick. I got an idea, use a removable external hard drive with lots of space, and leave PC storage space for my sis. I do know that keeping my projects on the external HDD won't do any harm, but would anything happen if say, I uninstall unity hub, editor from my PC, reinstall on the external HDD, and also keep the projects on it. Will that mess something up? It probably won't but considering that Unity takes up quite some space, would it not be a good idea to do this?

Yes it will be fine. Though I highly recommend you to keep a backup on Mega.NZ or Unity Hub's Cloud storage in case your HDD accidentally gets formatted.
