A really quick Unity scale/units of measurement question!
In Unity the standard units of measurement is metrics right? When you create the standard cube game object, is that a 1x1 meter cube? If not, what is it? I just want to make sure that I have all my measurements right before I start making 3D assets.
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it!

It's arbitrary...a unit is a unit. Because of some default settings such as gravity, it's treated as a meter, but you can say that a unit is a foot, a kilometer, whatever. When you create a default cube, look at the box collider x/y/z size; that's how big it is.
Does that make the standard game object cube 1 arbitrary unit by 1 arbitrary unit? I just want to use the cube as a good place holder for measurement, but need to know how large it is in 3D space.
Yes, a cube is 1x1x1. (I always treat the units as meters just in case physics will get involved, but for many games, this is not necessary.)

yup meters is correct
I know Unity is based on meters, but how big is the standard cube you can create from the menu bar?
