Using a class library in Unity [Free version]
I have a class library that I use for a web frontend, based on an API backend, and I am trying to use it in Unity as well. Essentially, it manages the data access and exposes a few easy methods for usage in my projects, e.g. login, retrieving a list of items, and it's supposed to be used to find the place and port for a game server to connect to.
The class library is written with Visual Studio in C#. I'd be helpful for any assistance you can provide here.
I am struggling with where to provide the reference to the DLL file or what's needed so that I can use the class library (by "using ConnectionLibrary") in the code that I write in Unity.
Could you Post it? what's your actual Problem? I'm a bit confused about that, because you just described what you have, and what it supposed to do, but not where you're struggling.
I am struggling with how to use it in Unity. In Visual Studio, I know where to put the reference so I can simply say "using ConnectionLibrary" in the code. With Unity, I don't know where to put it so I can use it.
I am not sure about posting the actual file here because (1) it's not about the file itself, it's working fine with the site and the API and (2) it has some confidential information like connection strings, and Twitter/Facebook API Credentials..

Managed plugins simply need to be copied into your project.
