Hiccup in iOS game (profiler shows high disk bytes read per second)
I have a strange 1-2 second hiccup in my game, but only in the iOS version (does not happen on android or WP8). So I opened xcode and built a version for profiling, and the one thing that stood out was a peak in disk bytes read per second at the time of the hiccup.
I have no idea what this means, or how to further investigate the issue. Any tips?

So what can cause disk bytes read per second to suddenly peak? How likely is it that this is the cause of the hiccup? How can I investigate what is causing the peak in disk bytes read per second in the first place? I hope someone can help me answer these questions - thank you! :)
