Unity Mac build won't load levels
I am currently running into a very particular problem. We have a build that runs fine when the build settings are set for Windows. However, any mac builds we make have a strange bug that refuses to load the next level. Our opening scene runs fine, which is a main menu. When we click on our button to start the game, the next scene refuses to load. The audio blanks out, and the application just hangs.
The game was built on a windows 7 machine using Unity Pro. Scene transitions are called using Application.LoadLevel("Level_name");
Any hints or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, did you transport the file to a $$anonymous$$ac in .zip format first? Apparently just copying the app folder/files can result in apps not running...
Ah, sorry... I see you are talking about the build project... not the exported app. $$anonymous$$y bad.

We boiled down the problem. The issue isn't the mac loading levels. the problem was from rendering a movie texture on a mac. This question is irrelevant now.
this question is still useful since you figured out the reason was from rendering a movie texture. If you explain more and set as answered, that would be useful for others
