NavMesh bakes at position 0,0,0 regardless if there is something there or not?
Hi,
Every time I bake a new navmesh, it bakes properly on all of my ground, but it also bakes a square in at 0,0,0. I don't know why it does this but it is annoying. Any help at all to fix this is appreciated.

Are you baking the NavMesh using the Physics Colliders as the source? Maybe there is some invisible object at (0,0,0). Could you please include the Project
and the Inspector
windows in a screenshot, while the square plane object is selected? I'm curious if there are other objects or components that could produce the extra NavMesh patch.
Since upgrading to Unity 2017.3, the problem has been fixed. Thanks.
