Sliding object being stopped by invisible edge
Hi!
I am making a 2d game that requires an object to slide down a line that the user draws. I am creating the line by procedurally creating a mesh. The mesh that is being created is fine as far as i can tell (essentially a rectangle) and has no edges that stick out or anything of the like (no wall inside it either that may get in the way). The line and the object sliding both have a bounciness of 0 and its friction set to 0. The physics manager has a very high bounce threshold, 0 sleep velocity and the min penetration set to 0.
When the object is sliding down the line no matter how straight the line is - the object will at some point hit an edge that will cause it to either stop completely or bounce and considerably slow down.
I have tried increasing the min penetration which helped a little bit, but the object will still bounce randomly, and it seems to travel much slower when i do the penetration set higher.
Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated
