Unity 2018.1 Stuck In Loop
I am a student and use Unity in no professional capacity, only just to mess around make simple games, as I have as much fun making simple games as playing other peoples games.
The school year just ended and I decided to try out Unity 2018.1 from Unity 5.6, however I am unable to register the product or sign in due to an infinite loop of going between no connection and sign-in pages. 
It switches between these two modes at about once a second, making it near impossible to even click the button or type/paste something before it switches to the other. I have tried the Unity Hud which lets me create a 2018.1 project, but I am unable to open it or any other projects in 2018.1 once they close.
Any help appreciated. :)
Also should mention I have disabled anti-virus and still same problem and 2018.1 runs on my laptop with same anti-virus program.
Yeah my friend had this problem with that version too, I'm in the middle of a project so I never updated. There's a newer version of unity (2018.1.1) so maybe the bug is fixed there if it doesn't work out I can only advise you to download another version of unity, I have 2017.3.0f3 and it's working smoothly.

Just remember to backup your projects before doing anything
Unity 2018.1.1f1 same issue, if theirs no fix I'll stick with 5.6 nothing in 2017 feature wise really caught my attention.
That's the best move, stay on your stable build.
I was messing around and Unity Hud, which had an update to version 0.17 and this allowed me to open up projects in 2018.1(from Hud) and also now when I open 2018.1 directly the issue is gone and I can select my projects and open them.
