Advice needed- best way to have a character pulled behind boat as waterskier.
Hi. Any ideas on the best approach to make a waterski game? I have a small scene with a water mesh, boat, and character. I've briefly tried to create a rope using a cylinder object duplicated a number of times along an axis, each with a hinge joint. One end is attached to the boat, the other end to the character(or rather a handle object in its hands). All this to pull the character along. In the end, I want the character to follow the boat at a set distance, while still being able to turn. I would also like to handle events like jumps and flips. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
