Charting/Graphing in Unity for VR

I'm looking for suggestions on ways to go about generating graphs in Unity3d. I'm particularly interested in assets that would work well in VR.

So far I've been looking at https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/17683 https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/12637

For other reasons, I've already purchased Vectrosity. https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/82

Another option was if anyone knows of a way to pipe the output of matplotlib into the 3d environment.

Lastly, right now I will place a few 1000 sphere objects as a scatter plot, the rendering is not exactly smooth. Is there a more optimized way to place thousand of small point in a 3D space.

I've been using Graph Maker and it's worked out really well: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/11782. I've been graphing a small number of values with a line graph at 75Hz on an Oculus DK2 and it hasn't hurt my frame rate. I haven't really gone anywhere near 1000 objects but it's very configurable and you can turn off all the fancy animation stuff to get it to render faster.

Graph Maker looks good. I ended up going with Graph Master for no other reason than it appeared simpler and I figured possibly faster for me to get ramped up. It gets the job done, some of the automation in the Unity menus does not work very well with Unity 5 but I extracted a prefab from the example scene and bent it to my will.
