Water not working properly
Hello Everyone! I am new to unity and trying to develop good terrain these days with the help of tutorials mainly .... My problem is that water on my terrain is not working as it should. When i generate waves its like that the terrain textures upon which i have built water are moving to and fro instead of proper waves but in fact waves are not generated its just the movement of textures.Is this elated to terrain material?the guy from tutorial used bumped specular but i am using standard because i can't find one in unity 5.Hope u get my point guys!
Are you using the Pro water? I can't tell from your description but if you aren't you might want to try it if it meets your game's requirements as it is so much better than the older 'free' water. Also, you might try deleting and re-importing your water assets if you continue to get odd results as your description of the visuals doesn't sound normal.
yes i am using pro water because simple doesn't look so good. I've reinstalled unity but that didn't help either.Even started from scratch but it didn't help.I am using pro water from standard assets.I heard that pro water works only with unity pro is that true? Any help would be much appreciated!
"pro" water works in free too so whatever you heard is probably old. A vid might help, the description leaves me without a clear idea of what you are seeing.
