Unity mobile swipe drag control

Im making an iPhone game where you control the player by dragging your finger on the x axis. The player is following your finger on the x-axis, and when you drag right it will instantly follow your finger. It does need to be smoothly though. Im not asking for a script (if you have on though i would gladly accept) but if someone knows a tutorial where you learn this, i would love to get a link.
