Run UWP on Windows Phone directly
When using Build and Run for a Windows Phone UWP, Unity aborts with the following error:
Installing package Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00.
An error 0x80073D06 occurred while running: The package could not be installed because a higher version of this package is already installed.
If I then open the project from Visual Studio, I can simply deploy to the phone without an issue. The deployment cannot succeed from the Unity editor, though.
