Shader to partially ignore lighting (Specific colors)
Hello,
I'm new to shaders and don't understand them enough to solve my problem. My question is if it's possible to make it so that lighting doesn't affect a specific color on a material?
The case for me is I have a map in my game and the roads are white, what I'm looking to do is to change the colors of everything except for the roads and leave them white. The map is a different image every time so it's not possible to make an overlay.
One thing I've tried is to change the color of everything except the roads by coloring the pixels that weren't white. It worked, but it looked horrible. The lighting is a much more gentle way and it looks great but it makes it harder to see the roads properly, I want them to stand out more.
