I can not activate the shadow on any device, though I read every doc I could find
I created a very simple scene with the Pro-Version. I read every answer I could find via Google and this forum, but I can not activate the shadow.
I've done:
Main Camera: Rendering Path Deferred Lightning or Forward
Directional Light: Spot or Directional; Hard Shadows; Render Mode Important; RealTimeOnly
Plane and Cube: Cast and Receive Shadows; Diffuse Shader
Quality Setting: Hard and Soft Shadows, Distance 4000
What am I missing?
Here is a demo and the code:
Windows-Exe: http://alaroid.de/shadow/shadow.exe
Here with the Web-Player: http://alaroid.de/shadow/shadow.html
Projekt: http://alaroid.de/shadow/Shadow.zip
Thanks for your help!
And if it is a problem with the graphic card (it is supported) why is there no shadow after building it for different platforms?
I see shadows... (and some peculiar artefacts)
What OS/Unity version/Graphics card do you have?
Thanks for your answer. I'm Using Windows 8.1; Nvidia GeForce GT 750$$anonymous$$; 16 GB memory
But when I build it for Web it should not be an issue of the Graphic Card when viewed on another machine.
Because I have no shadow on an other PC.
Are you running NVidia Optimus? I vaguely remember another thread in which it was switching to the integrated graphics chip set. Yes - here we go: http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/702705/shadows-are-buged-for-me.html
Now I tried it on a third Computer and there I get the shadow. So it is a problem with the Nvidia GeForce GT 750$$anonymous$$ or the build in Intel. But I tried both.
