Project texture for krater and scorch effect?
Hey guys,
I want to make a krater appear when a bomb goes off. It's top down so I was just gonna put a texture there. If a bomb goes off on top or near a building, there needs to be a krater / scorch effect on those objects to.
I wanted to use a projector to project an image of a krater / scorch effect on the blasted area. But if I use the light shader that comes with the standard assets it flushes out all the colour. Which makes sense because I thinks it's meant for a torch effect.
So how do I use a projector to render a clear image? Or do you guys have a better idea on how to get the desired effect?
