Light Baking - Runtime Placed GameObject
I was working on Runner king of 3d game play. Usually I was making objects static and do light baking onto those who remain always in game play. Now one new situation occurred in game play for me.
I have few fixed 3d track models exist those I was generating in sequence. So in sequence they become active and de-active so if I do light backing on these tracks then its work or not!!
I am confused on this question wether it will create effect in performance or not if my game objects become active and de-active continuously.
You can mark those lightmap static. This means they stay dynamic except for the light bake (little drop down next to the static checkbox)
Can you explain this more properly ?? Regarding small points I am completely aware because I am not doing light baking first time.
Basically I have 4 different environment track objects those become active and de-active in sequence. So if I do light backing on them then will it create any effect or not ?? Performance remain same ??
