Console is not showing print("");

Question

Hi, I am new to unity, and I tried my first line of codes on monodevelopr but unity seems like not responding to it after I clicked play.

here is the simple code: print ("hello"); after I clicked to run on Unity, the console is not displaying anything.

can someone help me please!

Try Debug.Log instead:

  Debug.Log("hello");
