Models screws up when imported
Hi!
Every time I make a model in Cinema 4D and import it into Unity, the model screws up! I am more of a voxel game creator so I make blocky models. When I make a model and don't rig it, it imports just fine but when I do rig it, the model breaks.
(The format I import the model in is FBX)
Picture:
The thing that happens is that on some body parts, it is like you have removed the top layer so you can see inside the model.
If anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me!

Got it working! I went into Cinema 4D and selected each body part that broke when imported to Cinema 4D and reversed the normals. Thanks for you help everyone!

You need to make sure your normals are correct. They are currently facing inwards. I don't use Cinema 4D, so I don't know how to adjust it within the program, but a quick google search would likely tell you what to do.
Can't figure it out at all on how to change the rotation of the normals. :/
Alternatively you can import the FBX into a program such as Blender and edit them in there, its really easy to do it in blender, then once you flip them, export it back out as an FBX and import into unity.
I've never used Blender so can you please tell me how I should do it?
import it into Blender, ( FILE, I$$anonymous$$PORT, FBX ) then press drop down on the bottom bar next to the little white circle and choose texture ( this will render it with normal's so you can see the wrongly sided faces. then right click you're model, press TAB to go into EDIT mode, this will then allow you to edit the vertices and stuff of the mesh. Try clicking the drop down menu called " $$anonymous$$esh " then press Normal's then recalculate outside, this will probably fix it, if it does, press TAB to exit EDIT mode and make sure you're object is selected by right clicking it, go to FILE, EXPORT, FBX, then on the left you will see some tick boxes, make sure that you tick " Selected Objects " so that you're only exporting your mesh out.
I can't find any way to apply the texture to my character
$$anonymous$$y character are made of blocks so if I export selected objects, it exports only a body part
When I don't export selected body parts, the bones get removed. Please, let me skip Blender. It's so hard to work with and the layout is just burgh!
