Implementing liquids in a chunk based terrain generator
Hello, currently I am using a minecraft starter kit from this link here for a new project.
Currently I'm trying to find a good strategy to implement liquid/water physics into this system. It seems that liquids were thought of at one point, but were not fully implemented. My current strategy was to calculate the indices and vertices around the liquid blocks to to get the solid block mesh, then use box colliders with triggers for all liquid blocks. Right now I'm running into a problem of having too many indices for my vertices count (even though I set them both at the same time and not altering the index count between additions).
If anyone has any pointers to get liquid chunks working it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.
