Terrain with Baked and Realtime Shadows
I have a scene with one directional light, a terrain object and several set-piece meshes. I want to bake a lightmap for the terrain to get self-shadowing and shadows from the set-pieces to show on the terrain. However, there are dynamic objects in the game that I want to have casting dynamic shadows onto the terrain.
My setup: static terrain, set-pieces, directional light. Directional light is Important, Culling Mask: Everything, Auto. Quality settings and directional light set to cast hard shadows. Shadow distance is 300. Dynamic objects set to cast shadows.
The weird part: It works great in the Editor. Both the scene camera and the game camera display baked and realtime shadows on the terrain from their respective casters. Realtime shadows are the same strength as baked.
The Problem: On iOS, the dynamic shadows are incredibly faint. I originally thought they weren't even there. Tested on multiple iPad generations.
