How to move a 2D player by the gamer answering questions (events) instead of controlls?
Hi everyone.
Im making a game in Unity in 2D. The dynamic is that the gamer will see a screen where in order to move the “player”, instead of using controls to advance, you have to answer a string of questions that pop up in front of you, and if the answer is right -push button- the player will move from point A to point B. (Check screenshot):
Is weird I know, but is what the client wants. I can move a player using code – transform.Translate – so the gamer can use buttons or touch. Not this time.
How can I do that? How can I controll the distance the player will have to walk in order to get the next place and show the other question and so on?
Im thinking of making animations and pause but I don’t think is the solution.
Any ideas please? Thanks in advance.
