Scene View perspective camera doesn't show girds and other gizmos

alt text Altough the gizmos are all checked true the perspective camera doesn't show grids or selected faces. The other camera modes, the isometric and the 2d camera, can show the gizmos without any problems.

Any idea on what might be causing this?
