Trying to import a 3D model (point cloud)
Hello, I am trying to import a 3D scan into unity.
I made a 3D scan of an object which produced a .ply file. I imported the .ply into blender and I exported it as an .obj. This is all I did.
When I import it into unity the asset's icon is blank and it doen't show up in the scene. In the picture the asset is called flower_vase and you can only see the handles in the scene. Also the object doesn't have any components other than the transform values. No mesh renderer or collider.
What is wrong? My guess is that I am leaving part of the process out when importing and exporting with blender. Please help!
