2018.3 Prefab serialized fields losing reference
After updating to 2018.3, I am no longer able to do a build without some of my prefabs losing references to other prefabs / gameobjects. Ultimately, standalone builds are completely broken when built because of this, and I need to then re-assign the references in the editor.
Am I missing anything?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

PROBLEM CAME BACK. See linked thread below. This answer will likely not solve your problem. Forcing asset reserialization may buy you some time though.
I seemed to have found a workaround. I had to clear the cache and disable custom cache location.
My Cache Server mode was originally set to "Local" with a custom cache location.

thanks for posting this - for the time being, I won't be attempting an upgrade to 2018.3 again, so I cannot confirm if this solves the exact same issue (In your post, you mention only seeing this issue after closing Unity, however I was seeing this happen while the editor was still open, during / after the build process had completed) - but I will mark it as the answer for others to try if they're in a similar situation.
