Localized String Not Found in asset store (its not DX11)

hi all. Using unity 4.5.5f1

Whenever i right click anywhere in the in-editor asset store, all of the rightclick menu options show as "Localized String Not Found",like this: http://puu.sh/cRAXA/3d189453ef.jpg

io did some googling and the most common suggestion is to disable DX11 in the player settings. SO i have done that, and it did not fix anything.

Also my videocard is an AMD r9 270x which is fairly good and definitely does support DX11
