unity can't build games for windows: moving Temp/StagingArea/WindowsPlayer.exe to Temp/StagingArea/testbuild.exe: the sytem cannot find the given file
Hi!
I'm working on a game for school, but unity cannot build the game. I really need to show my teammates the beta. It gives me this error: moving Temp/StagingArea/WindowsPlayer.exe to Temp/StagingArea/testbuild.exe: the system cannot find the given file (not sure about the last part, my pc is Dutch, but the meaning is the same). Building for linux works, tho. It gives me the option to try again, force quit or cancel. Try again keeps giving the same error. Force quit quits to desktop and cancel goes back to the editor. I tried rebooting, removing the unity registry keys and building another project. Nothing fixed it. My specs:
ryzen 1600
rx 580 8gb
16 gb ram
samsung ssd
windows 10
unity version 2017.2.0.f3
How do I fix this?
kind regards,
