Long Question

hey guys im just about to make my first game but i want to know a couple of things. my game will be where you have to dodge cubes while swimming in a lake. Everytime you dodge a cube the speed of the cubes spawning rises. how could i achieve this. also in the game there could be a bar that says how many cubes you have dodged. would anyone be able to point me in a direction that could show how to make a game like this. and if anyone could me some advice about making a lake that you can swim in that would be great thx.

Nice to see that your first game isn't going to be an $$anonymous$$$$anonymous$$O with 100km² etc (which happens more than you might think). However, you really should start with some tutorials if you haven't already. They should get you do a point where you can figure out how to make the basic mechanics you're asking about without much help.

You are trying to do too much (and that's 3 questions!). For a first game, keep it simple.

What's the definition of 'dodging'? Is this a side-scroller?

No-one is going to write the scripts for you (unless you check the forums http://forum.unity3d.com/forums/17-Collaboration ), you need to show the work you have done, and people will help where it is breaking.

Sorry, but your question is too broad, and this is not the place to ask for scripts. Unity Answers and its community is here to help you solve any Unity-related problems you have, not give away free code. If you don't know how to write code, I suggest learning Unity's Java Script (its really easy), but if you don't have time, or whatever, then you can try asking your question on the Unity Forums. I hope you can get an answer!

Also, use google. Do tutorials, and learn how to use Unity.
