Duplicate and Prefab objects breaks collision detection
Been having this issue that I can't seem to find a solution to anywhere and I'm also not entirely sure how to word my issue but here goes.
What is supposed to happen is when you walk up to say, a door, the GUI will display a message:
And this works for multiple objects like a key.
It all works perfectly so long as there is only one instance of the object. Any other object will seemingly override the original objects trigger collisions and the trigger collisions will stop working with both the door and the key. The new duplicated object or prefab object will work perfectly fine however.
This happens with both duplicated objects and prefabs.
I have 2 scripts that use an OnTriggerEnter function and they use a sphere collider component.
