3DS max Import problem [MODEL LOOKS OFF and TEXTURE NOT WORKING]
Hello, i am trying to figure out how to fix this issue i am having, its really bothering me i am new to 3ds max and i found online this free model that i want to use in my game project. But in Unity, the model+texture is not as it looks on 3ds, here are some pictures to show my problem So please i am new at all this and dont know how to really fix it by my own, thanks
There might be a problem with the way your bones are exported or imported. Perhaps you import the rig as Humanoid and the bone structure doesn't correspond to Unity's requirements. About the materials, not every material from $$anonymous$$ax can be easily transferred into Unity.
This is a fairly vast topic. I suggest reading the User $$anonymous$$anual for model and texture importing.

You have to import separately your model and your textures in Unity. Then, in Unity you have to relink the textures to the model.
Sorry, relink the textures to the model? I've tried to import model and textures separately, and then add the texture to the model, but still no luck
