Lightmapping does not work for imported geometry
I created a simple scene with 3d geometry that is native to Unity (box and a plane) and a box and a plane imported as fbx from 3ds Max. Mapping worked on the native objects but is not working on the imported geometry. All objects are static and i am using a directional light casting shadows. There are no textures applied to the geometry.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions that are made.

You probably forgot to enable light-map UV generation on you models import settings. Without popper light-map-uvs the light-map can not be baked for that object. A good indicator for that is the Warning you got in your console, telling you that a mesh secondary uv set (the light-map uv set) is in a not valid range an can not be used for light-mapping.
