begginer question (jump animation)
my problem is with a jump animation, in 3dmax I have to do the animation in the air?? or static on the floor to look good in unity, because when I press the jump key unity already moves up. is there any way to fix it and do not do a double jump without changing the animation. Thanks!!!!
Usually animations are done in a fixed position, so the jump animation doesn't leave the ground, the gameObject holding the model moves around. This way you always know the pivot/anchor point of the model is. If the animation moves, you have to move the gameObject holding the model to where the animation finishes, lots of extra hard work and calculations there.
