combing charactermeshes but loosing animation
hey all,
I have a character with wayyy to many meshes for my unity project to run smoothly
I made the character in makehuman and then exported to c4d to model and then export FBX to unity
but now i have: 1 mesh for body, 1 mesh for eyes, 1 mesh for pants, 1 mesh for shirt etc etc etc
now, I tried using meshbaker for merging all meshes together but that just causes the model to get merged but loose all animations that i made in c4d??
hope someone can help

@linelade Hello there, just merge all the pieces inside C4, check that the bones works fine and export your model, I really don't know why you don't do that in first place (may be your idea was another), but, that is the better way to work with models and animations, until you need it in parts so you can change it in runtime (custom characters), cheers.
hmmm well, because if I merge all pieces together I would have to delete the weight tags on all meshes and then draw them in again in the new combined mesh, and this would take ages to do on all models....
