Making hand painted textures inside the Unity editor with Wacom drawing pad.
Hello,
I am looking for some advice from more experienced Unity users about making/painting my textures from the scratch inside the editor. Unity 2018 comes with free ProBuilder and it will be integrated shortly. For my next few future projects is all I need and I could postpone diving deep into the Blender at least for a while. All I need now is a decent asset/extension to draw my textures inside the editor right on the mesh or on the texture (same like you would in Blender). I know ProBuilder comes with the ability to manipulate textures in many ways but I need to make them first. I will be using Wacom's drawing pad so this needs to be supported. Procore3d, company that made ProBuilder is also working on a PolyBrush that will be part of Unity too but this is in beta stage and I guess it has a long way before it will do what I am looking for. I will be writing to them next to see if they planning on extending PolyBrush with this future anytime soon. Can someone advise on the best asset that could help me achieve this? There is a lot of texture drawing to be done (only whole modular medieval city!) so it needs to be quite efficient/effective. As always, thanks a lot for your help guys and gals.
