2018.2 Streaming Textures Feature Issue/Question
I've been using the new Streaming Textures feature in 2018.2. My problem is, I can't get Unity to hit my Memory budget set in the Project Settings, or even get close to it.
For Example, Lets say my app is taking 2GB of textures in memory (I know that's a lot). I set my memory budget to 200mb (I tried all kinds of sizes and 200 seemed to get me the 'best' result). But it only brought my 2GB's down to around 1.7GB's. Not very much. Isn't the system suppose to hit the Memory Budget that you set? Seems like that's how it should work in my mind. Anyone else have similar results like mine? Or are you able to hit the Memory Budget you set?
Also as a side note, I did mark all of my textures with Texture Streaming Enabled.
