Load video from folder in VideoPlayer on Android
Hi guys, as the title says: I would like my Android application to load a video from a folder on my phone. I'm currently able to do this on desktop by adding the URL of my video to the VideoPlayer in code/inspector.
However, on Android, this doesn't seem to work. I added a path where my video is located on the phone, but it simply doesn't want to play it (get a white screen on startup). The video works fine when I pre-load it into the assets folder of my project though.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem? If so, I'd love to know what to do with this issue. Thanks!
What's your android video file path? I think you need to place video in the current application folder, over wise you need to give your app permission to get data from the other folder. You can then use Application.persistentDataPath to get path to the app folder.

You need to add "uses-permission=READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" into AndroidManifest.xml file for your Android apk.
