Major bog down using dynamic fonts in iOS
I have a menu which uses a dynamic font in order to size correctly with whatever screen resolutions it's being displayed on. This works great, but once the game is loaded onto the iOS device the game hangs for about 2 seconds before displaying the menu. If I change the font to ASCII it loads perfectly without delay, but then the fonts become incorrectly sized on each screen size. What am I missing here?
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
An interesting development with this is that the hiccup is a non-issue with the iPhone 6 plus, so perhaps it's just too much for the 5's graphics processor?
Still need a good solution to this.
Guess nobody has a solution for this? Perhaps this is something I need to take a bug report?
