How do I clamp a texture on only 1 axis?
In a model that I've imported, there are walls that are supposed to appear jagged at the top, so the top of the texture is transparent. But the texture itself is supposed to repeat along the edge of the wall.
The problem is that in unity, setting the texture mode to "wrap" makes the bottom edge of the texture wrap around to the top, producing an ugly black line above the edge of the wall. I need to clamp the y axis of the texture, but wrap the x axis.
How do I do this?
Usually stuff like that are errors when UV mapping the geometry in the modeling application.
It's not an error. The textures were supposed to repeat on the x axis and clamp on the y. There's no possible way it can be re-textured without completely remaking the model; which would be simply ridiculous.
