Character rotation instead of movement when using arrow-keys
I currently have the CharacterMotor-Script attached to my Character-object and disabled the MouseLook-Script. Basically I want the character to move when using the up- and down-arrows (as it currently does) but instead of moving to the left/right, i want the camera to rotate (look left/right). What's the easiest way to do this?

I've never use the standard Character$$anonymous$$otor script, so I did a quick read. There is no input handling it the code. $$anonymous$$y take is that it is a script that sits between the CharacterController and user input providing a library of functionality. The script you are using to drive the Character$$anonymous$$otor would be needed to get an accurate answer to your question.
