Blender Animation stutter after last frame
Hey, we are doing a project for the university. It is about creating a Game with Unity3D where the player has to kill as much Orcs as possible. The characters are made with Blender. In Blender, the animations are working properly. But if we import the .blend file to Unity, the animation stutters when its looping. Let's say the animation consists of 20 frames. The first and last Frame are identical. So we let Unity do frame 0 to frame 19. But when Unity comes from frame 19 back to frame 0 it stutters quite badly (Loop Pose is set).
Here is a link to a video of our very slowly running orc (Sorry for the bad quality).
Can someone help us please? If more information are necessary to help us just tell us.
Thank you very much!
Edit:
Some more Information: We tried a lot with changing the start and end frames. But with no success. The Preview also shows a much better animation than it is in the game itself. We also doubled the length of the animation in Blender. After that the animation works properly from Frame 0 to Frame 19 in the preview. But when we tried it in the game the stuttering occurred again. We also noticed that the 'Loop Pose' makes no difference, whether its active or not.

ok so maybe start it at frame 1 and end at 20 or even 1 - 19.. instead of 0 - 19.. could be something silly like that. also try to buffer 10 frames after each animation. also make a copy of your animation. then go into the animation editor from unity. there may be an error with unity trying to change the last frame. (usually the issue!!)
Good luck with your uni assignment
Hey thornekey
Thanks for your quick response. Could you please explain a bit more in detail what has Unity is doing with the last frame and how the error can be solved usually.
Thanks a lot!
sorry i went off answers. sorry the reply was late. basically its using tangents to screw up ur last frame, trying to modify it. if u go into the built in animation editor, it will show you whats happening and you can remove, or edit the issue. if this has worked please mark my answer as correct for future reference for others. best of luck.
PS you say this is for your assignment, if you cant solve it soon, id just move on! you dont want to waste time on it, perhaps go back to it when you have a bit more done hehe
