How to make a Game Upgreadable from a Free version to a Full version? (Android/Ios)
Hi all
i'm stucked with a problem
i would like to publish a game in 2 versions
a Free one, with less levels and ADS.
and a Full one with all the features and no ADS.
i have NO IDEA how to proceed
because if i make 2 different bundles (something like com.Free.com / com.Full.com)
i cannot share Savegames and player progress among the 2 versions
another option could be make it trough In-App Purchase
i already have a boolean to change from Free to Full, and would be nice to change it trough IAP
but i have NO IDEA how to manage that
ther's any other solution for this?...i'm really struggling
Thanks for the Attention! and happy programming all!
This is handled by a tutorial on the Google Developer site. It's handled the same way as any other IAP item.
How you implement the unlock is up to you. That is a design/discussion question. Best placed on the forums.

1) Two versions of the app can share versions, by storing the data on a server. This can be your own server, but since then you'd have to create a whole login system, you might want to consider Facebook, GameCenter or Google Play Services for this.
2) The better way would be to create an in-app purchase, which unlocks the game features. This makes the step for a user smaller to upgrade from your free to your pro version. No idea how to manage this? That's not a question.
the question then should be "how to make the in-app purchase option of google play, make the boolean change from Free to Full inside my unity game?"
that i meant with i dont know how to manage that :)
What have you tried, what didn't work when you tried? Be constructive when looking to figure things out, there are countless resources available for this.
