How to have items appear in a scene at different times

I am building a short scene for the hololens and I would like to have different video elements start and end in the scene at different times. This is more of an atmospheric element rather than a selectable item.

The other developers are using 5.6 so I can not upgrade to 2017 version with the timeline editor.
