Unity says it's up to date (but it's only v5.1.0f3) (Mac OSX 10.8.3)
I feel there is something odd going on with unity5 on my mac.
I have tried the following:
reinstalling unity, deleting the license file and signing into my unity account.
deleting all entries in my mac's hosts file
deleting all rulesets from "Little Snitch" firewall, and uninstalling it
repairing permissions and rebooting my mac
restarted my network modem and router
All of these didn't change anything.
What could be going on here, and how can I fix it.
I also have to sign into my unity account every time I close unity (and I've checked the "remember me" box).
There's nothing to fix; this has been answered repeatedly. e.g., http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/530646/unity-claims-no-update-available-when-there-are-ne.html
Why would they have a "check for updates" feature when it doesn't even check until a LONG time after the new verison has been out... :/
If they aren't sure the update works, why release it...
