Animations and Cut-Scenes

Does anyone know how to make an animation that starts off the game? for example i might have an island or a mountain where the scene takes place and i want an animation that will show the scene, maybe some dialog and then i want it to end, and enable that camera so the player can play the game, for example batman arkham asylum, theres the intro of the batmobile which has a few different animations from stationary cameras. any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you!
