setting up my in game shop within my mobile game
Hi, i am a game design student in need of advice on setting up my in game shop within my mobile game.. As it stands i'm of two mind sets, each with their own issues..
1 - I could have the shop within its own separate scene, so that all the info is there, and i would just need to past it on to the gm or something, so any and all items you unlock will appear within all the levels. But i will need to figure out where i was when i pressed the shop button, so that when i exit the shop, i go back to where i left off prior to entering .
or - have the shop as a drop down UI panel within the scene, on every scene, which means putting it all in the every scene, and having to pass that information over to all scenes that have access to the shop..
what would you do and why? plus any link to how i would do it would be great (student learning). or if you have built an in game shop for your game and know of a better way, please share, only way we as an industry can improve. thank you.,Hi, i am a game design student in need of advice on setting up the shop within my game..
