New Project/Scene - Change Default Settings?
I find myself needing to repeat several of the same steps for new projects or scenes and I was wondering if there was a configuration file or some way to modify the existing template. For example, if I were to start a new project, Unity would automatically set things like Asset Serialization, hidden/visible meta files, scene contents, and so on.
I'm open to any suggestions for alternative methods, I'm just not entirely sure where I would begin or if it's even possible, and any web searches (or searches here) have come up empty or were questions that never received answers. Any input would be appreciated.

Create a project with default scenes, scripts, settings, etc than export it as a package. After that you only need to import it each time you start a new project.
