Shadows show in scene view but not game view/Camera
I'm working on procedural 3d dungeons in unity 5.6.6 and noticed shadows appear in my Scene View (Shaded) but not in my game view. Friends have tried helping me, i've read the other questions to no avail.
Notice the shadow cast by the main chair in the light in the scene view on the floor, doesn't appear in the game camera. Its the same when i run the game.
I've looked at and fiddled with every setting I can think of: Camera, Graphics, Quality. I've changed shadow distance from 150 to 10,000 and still no shadow.
Here are the settings that may be relevant:
I supose you cheked that the chair mesh ooptions for shadows, and floor options for shadow recieve are correct. Also the light emmiter.
Bye!
Correct. And when I played with the settings based on your comment as soon as I turned of shadow casting on the chair or recieving shadows on the ground they no longer appeared in scene view, and continued not to show in game view.

Finally figured it out with Unity LIve Help.
Problem was my light was attached to my main camera (conceptually it was supposed to be like the player holding a torch). Well since the light was at 0,0,0 of the camera, it fell within the near clipping distance and was ignored. Once I put the camera to -0.4 Z the shadows all appear.
