interactive movie game (like heavy rain)

Dear all,

I am pondering as to what would be the best way to create a game like Heavy Rain/ Asura's Wrath.

What I want to do is -

  1. create an inteactive movie which people can interact with and change the outcome of depending on how well they press the buttons that appear on screen.

What would be the best way to do this?

Would it be better to create the animations as a movie clip first and overlay button presses on top? Or is there a better way?

Regards,

Jamie

This type of question is better suited for the forums. This place is for Unity specific questions, which there really isn't one in your post. Your post is more game design specific.

Good luck on your game though. That's an ambitious task you are undertaking, and I hope you succeed.
